NCER attendees will gather for meetings at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at The Capitol District, a sleek high-rise is a relaxing retreat surrounded by attractions in all directions. Thehotel is the newest and only full-service Marriott-branded hotel in downtown Omaha offering progressive hospitality design concepts in both public space and private guest rooms. After ourmeeting sessions, visit the 24-hour fitness center, equipped with cardio machines and free weights.

The Marriott has plenty of nearby restaurants and small shops and if you venture a bit further, it’s a 12-minute walk to OldMarket area, boasting hundreds of restaurants, shops and unique businesses. The Old Market is filled with sites and buildings of historical interest.

When it’s time to get out and about, take a walk on the nearby Bob KerreyPedestrian Bridge – a stunning, 3,000 foot long walkway stretching across the Missouri River, giving pedestrians a spectacular view of Omaha’s skyline plus find the troll under the bridge.While you’re there, be sure to visit the Lewis and Clark Landing and Riverfront Park redesigned to include extensive green space such as a vast prairie garden, a sandy urban beach complete with firepits, nearby volleyball courts and a destination playground.

The following guest room rates apply with one or two people in a standard room. There is NO AMENITY fee charged on these group room rates. Need help finding a roommate? Fill out the Roommate Finder Form for your information to be available for others.

General Attendees
$179.00 / night + 17.75 tax

(For one or two people in a standard room)

Federal Attendees
$121.00 / night + 17.75 tax

(A small block of rooms is reserved at per diem for federal attendees of NCER. Guests must be employed directly by the federal government to qualify for this rate, and present a federal issued government ID at check-in. This rate does not apply to commercial industry representatives who are contractors of the federal government. No exceptions.)

Attention Government Participants

The State of Nebraska does not offer a general lodging tax exemption for federal government employees on overnight stays.

Reservation Deadline

Friday, February 27, 2026 or until the room block fills.
