Visa Information

It is important to ensure you complete the necessary travel documentation and have the correct visa before traveling to the United States. If you are transiting through another country (such as Canada), please check their visa requirements as you may need additional visas.


Traveler Declaration

Everyone traveling to the United States must complete the required travel documentation before departure.

Visitor Visa (Non-Visa Waiver Countries)

All visitors will need to apply for a visa and provide evidence of your ability to meet the criteria for entry. Applications can take several weeks to process, so please ensure you apply for your visa well in advance of your travel. Visa Waiver Countries (less than 90 days stay):

If you are a citizen of a country that has a visa waiver agreement with the United States and meet the criteria below, you do not need a visa but do need an ESTA to enter the U.S:

  • Hold a valid return or onward ticket
  • Have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay
  • Hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from the U.S.
  • Comply with the duration of stay granted upon entry

Visa Waiver Countries (longer than 90 days stay):

If you intend to stay in the U.S. for longer than 90 days, you will need to apply for a visitor visa at least 30 days before traveling. Visa applications can be made online at the U.S. Department of State’s Visa Website »

Canadian Citizens:

Canadian citizens do not need a visa for short visits to the United States but must carry a valid passport.
