Call for Abstracts
If you are working in the field of biogeochemistry, you are encouraged to submit an abstract for consideration as a talk or poster presentation and share your work at the symposium. If you are working on a research project for which the data is not finalized, include your expected results in your preliminary abstract. A final version must be provided by Friday, April 4.
Submissions will be grouped to form thematic sessions. You will be asked to select a topic when uploading your abstract. Please review the topic list beforehand to determine the best topical fit for your work. Abstract submissions are not limited to these areas, as we seek to capture all emerging topics and innovative ideas.
Presentation Options
Oral Presentations
To allow as many people as possible to give a talk, authors are limited to giving a maximum of one oral presentation, and up to one poster. Sessions are 105-minutes long with five consecutive talks.
- Speakers are each allotted 20-minutes (17 minutes for their talk plus 3 minutes for Q&A).
- All presentations must be live and in person. There are no remote presentation options.
Poster Presentations
Posters will be on display in the Poster & Sponsor Display Room. This is the primary gathering spot where morning, mid-day and afternoon refreshments are served. These networking functions maximize opportunities for discussion amongst poster presenters, attendees, and sponsors. Detailed display
Presenter Registration Required to Participate
All program participants (speakers, poster presenters, session organizers, moderators, etc.) are required to register and pay the applicable fee by January 24, 2025 to confirm participation as a presenter. We anticipate the registration fee will be approximately $650 for corporate, government, academia, and non-profit attendees, and $495 for students and retirees. There are no one-day fees. Specifications and a poster presentation schedule will be provided in the official presenter notification.
