DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex
Our symposium host hotel is the downtown DoubleTree by Hilton at the Alliant Energy Power House, located just two blocks from Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and Paramount Theatre. The hotel offers a fun, convenient stay right in the heart of downtown and is connected directly to the convention center, where our meetings will be held. With modern rooms, great city views, and the signature warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in, it’s a welcoming spot that will make your visit easy and enjoyable. Plus, the hotel offers a top-floor restaurant, indoor pool, and 24-hour fitness center in addition to a complimentary airport shuttle.
Group Lodging Information
Room blocks and special rates are available for symposium attendees. Rates include FREE in-room and lobby WiFi. The hotel also provides a courtesy airport shuttle.
- $179 + tax for non-federal attendees (with one or two people per room)
- $110 + tax – prevailing per diem rate for federal attendees (with one or two people per room)
- To qualify for this rate, guest must be employed directly by a federal agency, and present a federal identification at check-in. Rate subject to change based on GSA prevailing per diem rates set for FY 2027/2028 after October 1, 2026.
Note to all Attendees: Once you arrive at the hotel, if you check out earlier than the departure date that was reserved, the hotel will add a $50 early checkout fee. Be sure your dates are correct when you reserve a room.

- Destination Fee: 3%/night
- Room Tax: 12%/night
Cancellation Policy
Reservations must be cancelled 48-hours prior to arrival to avoid paying a penalty equal to a one-night stay.
Reservation Deadline to Receive Group Discount
The last day to book in the room block at the group rate is Friday, September 18, 2026.
After that date, the discount may no longer be available.

On-site, $15.00 per day (Valet parking is not available.)
