Who Should Attend

The 9th INTECOL International Wetlands Conference is designed to bring together an international cadre of scientists, engineers, natural resource managers, policy makers, planners and partners involved with or affected by all aspects of sustainable management and restoration of wetland ecosystems.  The Conference will provide an interdisciplinary setting for participants to review cutting edge science, create and renew partnerships, and discuss opportunities to collaborate and leverage resources to address our global wetland-related challenges.  This includes those involved in the wetland sciences, engineering, wetland resource management and restoration, regulation, planning and policy, and education.  Such as (but not limited to):

• Individuals and groups interested in research conducted at multiple spatial and temporal scales, and ecosystem functions
• Individuals and groups interested in setting goals, objectives, and performance measures to measure the success of wetland restoration
• International agencies and organizations, federal, state, and local governments
