Student Opportunities

The ACES Conference Series is dedicated to bringing together perspectives from multiple disciplines, backgrounds, and industries to further the charge of ecosystem services. In doing so, we are excited to offer several options for college student involvement at the conference.

Register to Attend!

Students receive a $200 discount on conference registration fees! Take advantage of the networking opportunities at ACES to interact with leaders in your field and discuss future internships and employment opportunities.

Registration is open!

Apply for a Fellowship!

Graduate students who plan to present at the conference should consider applying for an ACES Fellowship. Typically five to six fellowships are offered to help support the travel, registration, and lodging for selected recipients. All fellows are required to present at the conference (oral or poster presentation) and therefore must also submit an abstract of their work. Fellows will be asked to provide a summary report of their experience at ACES.

Volunteer at the Conference!

Students who are either not planning to present or were not selected as fellows still have the opportunity to be a part of ACES. Student volunteers assist with some of the onsite conference logistics and in return receive complimentary registration and lodging for the conference. Student volunteers may still present at ACES, and conference organizers will work with you to create a volunteer schedule that accommodates your presentation time(s).
