Anticipated Outcomes

  1. Caterpillar Identification of status of pest and disease modeling for assessing impacts of climate change on productivity and economic conditions at regional to global scales
  2. Identification of status of crop model linkages with pest and disease models for impact, adaptation analyses
  3. Status of incorporating pests and diseases into economic models and analyses
  4. Formation of AgMIP teams for intercomparison and improvement of pest and disease models and methods for linking them with crop and economic models
  5. Strategy for incorporating pest and disease modeling into future AgMIP assessments
  6. Plans for publishing papers on these topics, potentially as a journal special issue
