Creating Powerful PowerPoint
10:00am - 11:30am
PowerPoint can be a tool for focusing your audience's attention, capturing their curiosity, and delighting their senses. So don't settle for crowded and clumsy visuals. Come to this session and learn how to design and deliver slides that make your point instead of distracting from it.
Designing and Delivering a TED talk
12:30pm - 2:00pm
Why are TED talks more exciting than standard presentations? Because they're driven by passion and a big idea. This session will reveal, step-by-step, how to craft and deliver a TED-style talk that makes your area of expertise clear and compelling for audiences of all types.
The Secrets of Dynamic Delivery
3:00pm - 4:30pm
What's the difference between talking to a good friend and speaking to an audience of hundreds? At this workshop, you'll find out why the answer is "not much!" Come and learn how to build the attitude and stage skills that will help you connect with audiences and enjoy yourself onstage.
About the Instructor
All three workshops will be conducted by Jezra Kaye, President of Speak Up for Success. Jezra, who's based in Brooklyn, New York, is an acclaimed public speaking coach who has created and delivered hundreds of public speaking workshops and training sessions.
Jezra coaches private clients from all backgrounds and industries, in person and via Skype. She is also the author or co-author of six books on business, fundraising, and public speaking.
