The Embassy Suites Orlando – Lake Buena Vista South is offering participants of the 33rd  Annual Florida Master Gardener Continued Training Conference, a very special rate of $109.00 per night, with a two-night minimum required, plus 12.5% state and local taxes, for up to 2 people in a room ($10 for each additional person per night).  The group rate will be honored three days prior and three days following the conference dates, based on availability. In order to receive the special discounted group rate you must state that you are with the Master Gardener Conference [No other special room rates will apply]. Please note: A cooked-to-order breakfast (6:30am-9:30am weekdays) and nightly Manager's Reception (5:30pm-7:30pm) is included in the room rate.

NOTE: The guest room block and group rate that has been negotiated with the hotel includes costs incurred to provide us with the large quantity of meeting space we require for our meetings. If we do not occupy a sufficient amount of guest rooms throughout the meeting, we will incur additional costs for meeting room rental charges. Therefore, we encourage all meeting participants to stay in the host hotel. Consequently, guests not staying at the Embassy Suites Orlando-Lake Buena Vista South Hotel during the conference will be charged a $100 facilities fee to cover their portion of meeting room rental charges incurred.

To Make a Reservation:

  • Reservations must be made by Friday, September 20, 2013 in order to receive this group rate. Please be aware the block of rooms may fill before the deadline, so we urge you to make your reservation as soon as possible. After September 20, the discounted rate is not guaranteed on possible remaining rooms. Please call the Hotel reservations direct line at (407) 597-4000 and identify yourself as a participant of the 33rd  Annual Florida Master Gardener Continued Training Conference to receive the discounted hotel rate. A special three letter group code has been created for reservations (FGC).

  • If you are rooming with multiple people, please include all names in the hotel reservation.
  • Florida government participants: Florida government participants: To receive tax exempt status, payment must be made in the form of a government issued check or credit card and be accompanied by a Florida sales tax exemption certificate presented at check-in). Please note:

  • All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Cancellation of individual reservations within 72 hours of arrival will be charged one night’s room & tax, including no-shows.
  • The hotel check-in time is 3:00pm and check out is 12:00pm. Early check-in will be accommodated if suites are available.  Guest Services will provide luggage storage.
  • A Complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast is served in the dining room and a complimentary nightly manager’s reception is included in the sleeping room rate.
  • The hotel is offering participants of the 33rd Annual Florida Master Gardener Conference:

1.   Complimentary high-speed wireless internet is available in the common areas of the hotel.

2.   Free Parking.

3.   All suite rates are based on single/double occupancy.  Additional adults are $10 each per night. 

4.   An optional discounted HOT lunch on Monday for conference attendees.

5.   A luggage storage area will be provided for guests on Wednesday for checking out.
