Code of Conduct

We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Suggestive statements, sexual innuendo, or offensive remarks are not appropriate during any activity, including during talks, poster sessions, workshops, social functions, after hours parties, via Zoom chat or on Twitter or other online media. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Those violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled without a refund at the discretion of the organizers. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns about participant behavior, please notify the organizers immediately.

Welcome to the 2024 International Citrus & Beverage Conference

On behalf of the Food Science & Human Nutrition department at the University of Florida, I would like to thank you for your interest in our annual program for citrus, juice & beverage professionals. This year’s conference will once again focus key issues facing our industry with talks spanning the topics of global juice and beverage technology to the marketing of new and innovative products. We look forward to lively scientific and technical discussions as well as many opportunities for networking with colleagues in Clearwater Beach, FL. Please plan on joining us again in September 2024 and check back frequently as our program develops.

Hotel Reservation Fraud Alert

It is possible you will be contacted by a company claiming to be the official housing bureau for this conference. This is a scam affecting conferences nationwide. These companies contact conference attendees and sponsors, using scare tactics of room blocks sold out or quoting lower rates at a hotel. They state you must reserve through them to get the discounts and ask for your credit card information. Do not give it to them! Avoid becoming the victim of fraud; use only the hotel reservation links provided by the host organization’s website.
