Who Should Attend

This conference is designed for:

  1. Extension professionals and crop consultants interested in learning more about tools available for helping their clientele reduce climate related risk
  2. Producers, policy makers and agency representatives responsible for making decisions that are affected by climate variability and change
  3. Researchers, private sector and agency professionals involved in designing and implementing tools

Note to attendees: December 5 and 6 will feature keynote speakers and sessions covering challenges and opportunities for the development of climate information and decision support tools aimed at helping working land managers reduce risk associated with climate variability and change. A half-day workshop on December 7 will target tool developers and members of the audience who are interested in the technical aspects of tool development including data sources, processing and management.

 

The conference will address primarily climate challenges faced by the agricultural industry in the Eastern USA.
