The UF/IFAS College of Agricultural and Life Sciences is preparing the next generation of leaders to address the world's critical challenges related to agriculture, food systems, human wellbeing, natural resources, and sustainable communities. We offer 23 undergraduate majors in agricultural sciences, natural resources, forest and geospatial sciences, life sciences, social sciences, and pre-professional studies. Master's and doctoral programs are available in a similarly broad range of disciplines. In addition to the Gainesville location, CALS students may take undergraduate courses online or at several of our statewide locations outside of Gainesville. We are #6 in the Top Public Schools for Undergraduate Studies as ranked by U.S. News & World Report and we are in the TOP 5 of the Largest Colleges of Agricultural and Natural Resources in the country.
