Call for Abstracts

Important Notice about the Abstract Submission Deadline: The deadline to submit an abstract for consideration as an oral presentation has passed. We are still accepting late abstract submissions for presentation in Poster Session Two. Please be sure to format your abstract properly using the abstract template linked below, and follow the detailed online submission instructions.

ATTENTION DEDICATED
SESSION PRESENTERS:

If you were invited to speak in a pre-organized dedicated session, you will be asked to indicate the number assigned to that session when you upload your abstract. If you don’t know your session number, contact your session organizer.

Oral Presentations

Contributed abstract submissions will be grouped topically to form thematic sessions. These sessions, combined with pre-organized dedicated sessions, will be used to prepare the program agenda of scheduled presentations. To allow as many people as possible to give a talk, all authors are limited to giving a maximum of one ORAL presentation.

Poster Presentations

Abstracts may also be submitted as poster presentations. Posters will be on display throughout the conference in the Poster & Sponsor Display Room. This is the primary gathering spot where morning, mid-day and afternoon refreshments are served. The agenda also features a lunch buffet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday plus evening Poster Session Socials on Tuesday and Thursday. These networking functions maximize opportunities for interaction amongst presenters, colleagues and sponsor representatives.

Abstract Submission Fee

All abstracts must be submitted online. Please do not email them to the organizers. A fee of $25.00 per abstract is charged at the time of submission and is to be paid by credit card so have your number handy before you begin the submission process.

Abstract Topics

You will be asked to identify the most applicable theme and sub-topic when you upload your abstract, so please take a moment to review this list and make your selection beforehand. Click here to view a detailed list of themes and sub-topics.

Registration Required to Participate

All participants including speakers, poster presenters, panelists, session organizers and moderators, are expected to register and pay the fee to attend and participate in the conference. To assist with budgeting and planning, we anticipate fees will be between $450-475 for government and non-profit attendees, $550-575 for corporate attendees and $250 -275 for student attendees. Registration will include daily morning, mid-day and afternoon refreshment breaks, three lunch buffets (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and two poster session socials (Tuesday & Thursday).
