Silent Auction
The silent auction will return at the 36th Florida Master Gardener Volunteer Conference! From new gardening tools and accessories to rare plants, rain barrels, and baskets of local goodies, you'll be sure to find plenty to pique your interest.
Silent auction proceeds support the Master Gardener Awards of Excellence and Service Awards.
Auction Donations
Conference organizers are calling on the Master Gardener counties to donate items for auction. Each donating county will have a designated display area at the conference. If a county wants to donate but will not have representatives attending the conference, adjacent counties can submit auction items on their behalf. Space will be limited so we are limiting donations to 10 items per county; you can combine items into lots. Please consult Auction Committee Chair, David Austin, in advance regarding donations.
County Competition
Coordinators, ask your volunteers to put their heads together to outdo the other participating counties! The county whose auction item(s) bring in the most money will receive a prize packet! Counties can include a coordinator or group photo with the display item(s) so bidders can identify the county each contribution will benefit. Auction proceeds will go toward awards recognizing MG volunteers for their length of service and innovative programming.
If you are interested in donating to the auction, please email descriptions and item photos (if available) to David Austin at davidaustin@ufl.edu no later than Friday, October 18, 2019.

Note: Only cash or check payments will be accepted during auction checkout, so please plan accordingly! There is an ATM available onsite at the host hotel.
