Graduate Student Awards

Two cash prizes will be awarded at the conference. The Bonde-Reep Prize will be awarded to the graduate student presenting research that furthers our knowledge of fundamental manatee biology. The Bonde-Reep Prize will be awarded to a student whose research contributes to manatee health or conservation. These awards are made possible compliments of proceeds from the sale of The Florida Manatee Biology and Conservation, a book co-authored by Bob Bonde and Roger Reep.
