On behalf of the Vaccinium Species Workgroup and the Vine and Berry Fruits Section of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), we cordially invite you to join us at the XI International Vaccinium Symposium in Orlando, Florida, USA on April 10-14, 2016. In addition to being a popular vacation destination, Orlando is located within a short drive of over half of Florida’s low-chill blueberry production.

The symposium will consist of a three day scientific program at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort and a one day tour of local blueberry growing, packing, and shipping facilities. We welcome abstracts submitted for research in areas of breeding and genetics, germplasm, horticulture and production systems, plant physiology, plant and soil nutrition, pest and disease management, postharvest, health benefits, marketing and economics, and mechanization. The event will be open to all involved in the Vaccinium research, teaching, and extension community, as well as producers and marketers involved in the industry. The goal is to promote international cooperation and dissemination of the latest information regarding Vaccinium species.

Please note the official language of the symposium will be English. Check back frequently for updates, and we look forward to seeing you in 2016!
