spring grantsmanship workshop. Registration expenses for IFAS faculty will be covered by the IFAS Dean for Research
office. For non-IFAS faculty, a fee of $225 will be charged

This widely acclaimed
seminar comprehensively addresses both practical and
conceptual aspects that are important to the
proposal-writing process. It is designed for faculty members
who have had some exposure to writing grant applications,
either through training / mentoring or personal experience.
Emphasis is given to such things as idea development,
identification of the most appropriate granting agency, how
to write for reviewers, and tips and strategies that are of
proven value in presenting an applicant's case to reviewers.

registration will be complimentary
What does the registration fee include?
Attendance, conference materials, continental
breakfast, AM and PM refreshments, as well as lunch.
January 7, no cancellations are allowed, however,
substitutions may be granted with advanced notice. If you
would like to request a substitution, please email Kim

paid for your registration to the workshop and were not able

Refund Policy: Requests
for registration refunds will be honored if a written
