In-Person Field Trips
Describes required course activities you are expected to complete on your own prior to the next Live Online Meeting time. The course instructors will provide more specific guidelines and access to all resources by the first day of the course.
We have two in-person field trips for this course. One will take place in Brevard County and the other in Hillsborough County. After the first day of class we will ask if participants are willing to share their personal contact information; after this time participants are able to plan amongst themselves to carpool, if they desire. More details will be provided on each field trip during the online meeting prior to the field trip. The location of the Brevard field trip is TBA at the time of course publication, as it depends on the site that our conservation partners would prefer for us to monitor during that time. The site will be located within a county park along the Indian River Lagoon in Brevard County.
