Continuing Education Units

20+ Florida Continuing Education Units (CEUs) may be earned by attending this Short Course.

Categories include: CORE, Aquatic, Natural Areas, Right-of-Way, Ornamental & Turf, Demo & Research, Forestry, Private, Ag Row Crop, Ag Tree Crop, Commercial Lawn & Ornamental, Limited Certification Lawn & Ornamental, and Limited Certification Commercial Landscape Maint.

Many states will award credit if you show the Florida CEUs you earned and a copy of the Short Course agenda, so be sure to hang on to your course materials if seeking credit from a state other than Florida.

If you would like to request approval for CEUs from states other than Florida PRIOR to the Short Course, please contact Mandy Stage at no later than March 1, 2019. Please provide contact information for the state agency from which you wish to seek approval.

A representative from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) will be available at the Short Course to answer questions regarding CEUs and Florida licensing requirements. Search for CEU Classes and Exam Scores

  • Applicators must possess a Commercial, Public, and/or Private Pesticide License to have CEUs applied toward license renewal. The license status must either be NORMAL or EXPIRATION TEMPORARY. Click here to check the status of your license.
  • Duplicate program ID numbers will not be accepted for recertification at the time of license renewal.
  • You may only earn credit for sessions attended.
  • Want to plan your Short Course schedule in advance? Refer to the CEU chart linked below for a detailed breakdown of Florida CEUs available at the 2019 Short Course. Choose the category at the top of the chart and find the classes that provide the credits you need. (If you don’t have a license, you will generally benefit from taking Session B courses and Plant ID and Calibration Training Sessions.) Be sure to cross-reference the program agenda for details on session locations, speakers, and presentation topics.
