Preparation for Exams

During the Short Course, presentations will review a great deal of the material that will be covered on the General Standards (CORE), Aquatic, Natural Areas, and Right-of-Way category certification exams. In addition, it is highly recommended that you review the appropriate Pesticide Application Training Manual for the categories in which you will be testing.

Training Manuals

Questions for the pesticide certification exams are derived from training manuals available from the UF/IFAS Extension Bookstore. You may order these manuals at ANY time through the Bookstore’s website or by calling (352) 392-1764.

These manuals are approximately 100 pages long. In order to ensure that you have adequate time to read these materials and prepare for the exams, you are encouraged to purchase manuals prior to the Short Course.
