The conference Site is located at the J. Wayne Reitz Union at the University of Florida on Museum Road. Participants will need to go to the second floor and check in at the conference registration table for nametags and conference materials. The Reitz Union Hotel is located on the 5th and 6th floors of the J.Wayne Reitz Union, and lies at the hub of University of Florida’s campus and the “Bridging Conservation and Development in Africa and Latin America” Conference venue.

A block of guest rooms has been reserved at the Reitz Union Hotel for a special rate of $84 plus tax for the nights of arrival 1/26/2009 to departure 1/31/2009. In order to receive the reduced rate, reservations must be made prior to December 31, 2009. To obtain this special rate, please refer to the conference rate code “LAS/10” when making your reservation. Please be aware that traditionally the block of guest rooms fills before the deadline, therefore we encourage you to make your reservation at your earliest convenience. The hotel is a short walking distance of the “Bridging Conservation and Development in Latin America and Africa” Conference held on the University of Florida campus in the J. Wayne Reitz Union.
