Conference Family Rest Area -- Available Saturday and Sunday

The conference is geared to adult education, yet the conference organizers are sensitive to the need of participants who may need to attend with their children. While the conference is unable to provide babysitting services or activities for older kids, a Family Rest Area room will be available for nursing mothers and parents that need a short break from the conference. This room is available only Saturday and Sunday during the conference. Parents will be responsible for the supervision of their children at all times and will not be allowed to leave their children in any area or room unsupervised.

Special Needs

Participants with special needs (such as visual, hearing or walking impairments) can be reasonably accommodated by contacting the Office of Conferences & Institutes at least 21 working days prior to the conference. We can be reached by phone at 1-352-392-5930, by FAX at 1-352-392-9734, or by calling 1-800-955-8771 (TDD). The TDD number can only be accessed from within the State of Florida.

Support the Florida Small Farmers Scholarship Fund

Your donation will help Florida small farmers attend the Florida Small Farms and Alternative Enterprises Conference who otherwise may not be able to attend. Your gift will be applied to the cost of their registration thereby enabling a farmer to participate in this education program. Applicants for the registration scholarship will need to meet certain criteria in order to be selected. (Example: low-income, beginning farmer/rancher). To donate, simply indicate your gift amount when you register for the conference. Nearly 50 farmers need your support. Thank you.
