Novus International Pre-Conference Seminar

Novus International will hold a pre-conference seminar on the morning of Tuesday, January 29, 2008 prior to the Florida Ruminant Nutrition Symposium. The seminar will feature several well-known speakers from the industry, and is open to anyone who would like to attend at no charge.

Registration

The registration fee includes Tuesday’s buffet lunch, refreshment breaks, the welcome reception, one copy of the proceedings and conference materials.

Registration Fees

Refund Policy: Requests for registration refunds will be honored if a written notification of cancellation is received by the Office of Conferences & Institutes on or before January 11, 2008. A $15.00 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds. Sorry, no refunds will be honored for cancellations after January 11, 2008.

Special Needs: Participants with special needs can be reasonably accommodated by contacting the Office of Conferences & Institutes at least 10 working days prior to the conference. We can be reached by phone at 1-352-392-5930, by fax at 1-352-392-9734, or by calling 1-800-955-8771 (TDD). The TDD number can only be accessed from within Florida.

• Standard rooms are available at a rate of $89.00 per night plus tax (currently at 9.25%). All standard rooms have two double beds, a coffee maker and coffee.
• Deluxe-king rooms are available at a rate of $94.00 per night plus tax  tax (currently at 9.25%) upon availability. All deluxe-king rooms have a king size bed and a full size pullout sofa bed and also feature upgrades that include a refrigerator, microwave, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, and coffee maker.

* Complimentary continental breakfast will be served in the lobby each morning for all guests.

* Complimentary high-speed wireless internet access.

* Complimentary Airport Shuttle - The Best Western Gateway Grand will provide complimentary transportation to and from the Gainesville Regional Airport. Courtesy phones are located near baggage claim in the airport terminal.

Reservations must be made prior to Monday, January 7, 2008 to assure availability and the group rate.

NOTE: Tax Exemption – In order for State sales tax to be properly waived, a guest must present their tax-exempt form upon check-in. Their form of payment must match the name on their tax exempt form (check or organization credit card). Cash, personal checks, and personal credit cards are not acceptable forms of payment for tax-exempt individuals or groups.

Gainesville Area and Airline Information: Air service is provided through the Gainesville Regional Airport, just north of Gainesville. Additional airports within a 2 - 3 hour drive of the University of Florida are located in Jacksonville (85 miles), Orlando (110 miles), and Tampa (130 miles).
