Write Winning Grants:

This widely acclaimed seminar comprehensively addresses both practical and conceptual aspects that are important to the proposal-writing process. It is designed for participants who have had some exposure to writing grant applications, either through training / mentoring or personal experience. Emphasis is given to such things as idea development, identification of the most appropriate granting agency, how to write for reviewers, and tips and strategies that are of proven value in presenting an applicant's case to reviewers.

NSF CAREER Award:

The purpose of the National Science Foundation’s CAREER Award is to create participants who will use their research to attract and motivate students to learn better. It is a very prestigious award. Acquisition of a CAREER Award is particularly distinguishing in the developing career of an assistant professor, which is why so many apply for it – most without success. The principal reason for failure is lack of understanding of how the application must be written, which is what this seminar teaches.
