Participant must be 18 years of age or older.

FMNP
does not provide university credit toward a
degree-seeking program.

There
are three modules (subject areas): Freshwater
Wetlands, Coastal Systems and
Upland Habitats.

Each
course provides 40 educational contact hours and
includes a combination of classroom learning, field
trips and practical experience in interpretation. A
group project is required.
Each course is limited to 20 students, unless
otherwise noted.

Registration Fees:
$225 per course includes a
two volume set of detailed course manuals and, upon
successful completion, a FMNP logo patch,
certificate & pin denoting module then entry into
the UF/IFAS database of Florida Master Naturalists.
For partners wanting to share a set of books, we
offer a
Partner Book Share Discount.
It is a $175 reduced
registration
fee
given to those living in the same household.
Register one participant at the regular price and
the other at the reduced
rate. It
may be applied to a partner registering for the same
course or another course within the same module. The
other partner must have attended a course no earlier
than January 1, 2007.

provided after the course schedule.

Payment
must be received at least a week prior to the course
start date, unless previous arrangement has been
made with the FMNP Conference Coordinator.

Master Certificate: Only students completing
their third and final module are eligible to receive
the "Master Certificate". There is no time limit to
finish all three modules.

Attendance Policy: A student can miss one
classroom session and one field trip during the
course. All absences should be discussed with the
instructor and possible make up sessions arranged.
If more than two sessions are missed, a student will
receive an incomplete and not graduate.

Cancellation Policy: Requests for registration
refunds will be honored for medical and family
reasons only. A written notification of cancellation
must be received by the Office of Conferences &
Institutes 10 working days prior to the course start
date. A $50 processing fee will be deducted from all
refunds.

Special Needs: In compliance with ADA
requirements, participants with special needs that
can be accommodated reasonably should contact the
instructor at least 10 working days prior to the
course.
