NOTES LISTED IN ADDITION TO COURSE SCHEDULE:

Because of the short amount of time allotted for lunch it is highly recommended that you brown bag your lunch and any snack items you wish to bring. Lunch items are available at the Jungle Grill on zoo property as a backup.

Course Time Schedule does not include travel time, except between AM & PM classes.

All sessions of the course will be located on zoo property traveling to fieldtrip locations in the afternoon.

Missing a class or a field trip:
• Because of the short timeframe and nature of this course it is not possible to miss a classroom session or field trip session and still become certified.
• If you miss a session, the University of Florida will not issue you a certification for this class, but please keep coming to as many sessions as possible…this is your course.

Field Recommendations:
Please do not wear perfume/cologne or use perfumed soap/body lotion before going out in the field. This may attract more unwanted buzzing invertebrates known as mosquitoes, midges (no see ‘ems) and flies.
