Day 2 Thursday, February 22, 2018 
6:00pm – 7::30pm Salt Marsh Restoration Presentation
7:30pm – 8::30pm Guest Speaker-Importance of Living Shorelines to Wildlife
8:30pm – 10:00pm Plant ID and resource partitioning as it pertains to living shorelines and the upcoming restoration


Day 3 Saturday, February 24, 2018 
9:00am – 9::30am Overview/introduction
9:30am – 10:00am Introduction to restoration methods and purpose on Deerfield Island Park-Guest Speaker
10:00am – 11:00am Begin Creation of a Salt Marsh and a Mangrove restoration
11:00am – 1:00pm Begin planting of salt marsh and mangroves
1:00pm – 2:30pm Working Lunch at completion of restoration on boat ride around island to discuss challenges of coastal restorations and potential sites for future restorations
2:30pm – 3:30pm Mangrove monitoring exercise
3:30pm – 5:00pm Oyster and spat identification and discussion of oyster species in Broward and oyster reefs



Day 4 Sunday, February 25, 2018

9:30am – 11:00am Oyster Reef Presentation
11:00am – 11:30am Oyster reef video showing various oyster reefs.
11:30am – 12:30pm Guest speaker on Oyster reefs during lunch
12:30pm – 1:30pm Visit Anne Kolb Nature Center Living shoreline restoration site
1:30pm – 2:30pm Visit large-scale mangrove restoration site discussing mangrove restoration sites, challenges and benefits.
2:30pm – 3:30pm Guest speaker coastal restorations and considerations in Broward County-in the field
3:30pm – 4:30pm Explore various other nearby coastal restoration sites in Broward County
4:30pm – 5:00pm Graduate
