Continuing Education Units
Up to 22 Florida Continuing Education Units (CEUs) may be earned by attending this Short Course.
Categories include: CORE, Aquatic, Natural Areas, Right-of-Way, Ornamental & Turf, Demo & Research, Forestry, and Private. See the chart linked below for a detailed breakdown of the Florida CEUs available at the 2016 course.
Many states will award credit if you show the Florida CEUs you earned and a copy of the Short Course agenda, so be sure to hang on to your course materials if seeking credit from a state other than Florida.
If you would like to request approval for CEUs from states other than Florida PRIOR to the Short Course, please contact Mandy Stage at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than March 11, 2016. Please provide contact information for the state agency from which you wish to seek approval.
A representative from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) will be available at the Short Course to answer questions regarding CEUs and Florida licensing requirements. For licensing and certification information, contact the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Pesticide Certification Office at 850-617-7870 or visit:
