There is also a place to CC: someone if you wish for a colleague or administrative assistant to receive a copy of your registration confirmation. Payment can be made in the form of a credit card or check, or, you can generate an invoice to request payment from your organization.

Guest Fee: The guest fee allows guests 18 years of age and older to attend the Tuesday Welcome Social and the Wednesday dinner banquet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The following is from the "Federal Travel Regulation" issued by the General Services Administration (www.gsa.gov/ftr) and should apply to all Federal Agencies. Each Agency, however, might issue separate regulations that implement the FTR slightly differently. Please contact your appropriate manager to confirm your unit’s travel policies.

Advanced payment of a conference or training registration fee may be reimbursed as soon as your Travel Authorization has been approved for the event and once you have submitted a proper travel claim/voucher for the expenses incurred. Refer to FTR 301-74.25, Conference Attendees, www.gsa.gov/ftr.

This stipulation requires getting Travel orders approved sooner than normal but you can always hold off on making airline reservations until it gets closer to the event. Once the order is approved and you have registered, you can submit a voucher for reimbursement of the fee, then file a final voucher after the Summit.
