|A guest is a person who accompanies a meeting attendee, such as a spouse or partner. Guests who register in advance are invited to participate in evening social functions. Guests do not participate in meetings.
NOTE: The Guest Fee is not for use by co-workers.
What Does the Registration Fee Include?
The registration fee, combined with funds contributed by our generous sponsors, provides full participation in the Summit, program materials, and almost all meals throughout the program as delineated on the agenda, including morning, mid-day and afternoon refreshments, a Welcome Social on Tuesday evening, a luncheon on Wednesday and a dinner banquet on Wednesday evening.
As Summit attendance is by invitation only, the private passcode provided to you in the Letter of Invitation, is required to access the online registration form.
Once you enter the passcode and access the online form, you will be asked to provide your full contact information, anticipated arrival and departure date and meal preferences. There is also a place to CC: someone if you wish for a colleague or administrative assistant to receive a copy of your registration confirmation. Payment can be made in the form of a credit card or check, or, you can generate an invoice to request payment from your organization.
Guest Fee: The guest fee allows guests 18 years of age and older to attend the Tuesday Welcome Social and the Wednesday dinner banquet.
Refund Policy: All refund requests must be received in writing by June 1st, 2010. A processing fee of $125.00 will be deducted from all meeting participant refunds and $25.00 from all guest refunds. Sorry, but after June 1st, no refunds will be issued.
Special Needs: Participants with special needs can be reasonably accommodated by contacting the Office of Conferences & Institutes at least 21 working days prior to the conference. We can be reached by phone at 1-352-392-5930, by FAX at 1-352-392-4044, or by calling 1-800-955-8771 (TDD). The TDD number can only be accessed from within the State of Florida.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The following is from the "Federal Travel Regulation" issued by the General Services Administration (www.gsa.gov/ftr) and should apply to all Federal Agencies. Each Agency, however, might issue separate regulations that implement the FTR slightly differently. Please contact your appropriate manager to confirm your unit’s travel policies.
This stipulation requires getting Travel orders approved sooner than normal but you can always hold off on making airline reservations until it gets closer to the event. Once the order is approved and you have registered, you can submit a voucher for reimbursement of the fee, then file a final voucher after the Summit.
