Organizer Information

Pre-Conference Workshop Organizers

Workshop organizers will be responsible for inviting speakers, ensuring their participation, ensuring submission of preliminary texts and structuring/leading the discussion sessions.

*Note: The Conference Organizers will not provide for the printing of workshop handouts. Digital copies may be posted to the conference website.

All workshop presenters and organizers are expected to register for the conference and pay the applicable fee to attend.

Deadline for Workshop presenters to submit OPTIONAL abstracts

August 25, 2012

Deadline for submission of finalized workshop description for publication on the website. CLICK HERE to view an example of a Workshop Description.

September 5, 2014 Workshop Organizer to email Conference Coordinator Jhanna Gilbert, with FINAL SESSION AGENDA for your workshop, including full speaker names, talk titles and order of presentation.
October 24, 2014 Workshop Organizer to email Conference Coordinator Jhanna Gilbert, detailed request for set up of workshop session, including audio-visual requirements. You will be contacted prior to the conference to reconfirm final arrangements.
January 9, 2015 Workshop Organizer to email Conference Coordinator Jhanna Gilbert, a Workshop Summary as an MSWord document.

Session Organizers

Session organizers will assist with: recruiting session speakers and ensuring their participation; facilitating prompt abstract submission of all session speakers; moderate the proposed session and coordinate any special materials or hand-outs.

Town Hall Organizers

Town Hall Organizers will assist with: recruiting a reporter/ recorder for the town hall session; manage any discussion leader communications; moderate the town hall and coordinate any special materials or hand-outs.

*Note: The Conference Organizers will not provide for the printing of town hall handouts. Digital copies may be posted to the conference website.

All town hall participants and organizers are expected to register for the conference and pay the applicable fee to attend.
