Potential Invasive Pests Workshop will be held at the
beautiful Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Miami (Coconut Grove),
Florida.
This
well appointed hotel

Miami, the Mayfair Hotel & Spa is in the heart of
world-famous shopping, dining, and attractions. It is
nestled amongst an exclusive waterfront enclave of
restaurants, shopping, and nightlife, located between Miami
and Coral Gables.
Room
Rate Information:
 
The
Mayfair Hotel and Spa is offering Workshop guests the
US Federal Per Diem Rate of $104 per night (plus 13%
tax) with one or two people in a room (single or double
occupancy).
Please Note: Federal Per Diems have lowered in
the Miami area. The Potential Invasive Pests group rate has
dropped from $128/night to $104! All reservations made in
the group block will automatically be adjusted, so there is
no need to call the hotel to check on this. When you arrive
at the hotel to check-in, please confirm that your rate has
been adjusted to $104 per night.
An additional charge of thirty dollars ($30.00US) will apply
for each additional adult (up to four adults per room).
Children age fifteen (15) and under stay free in the same
room with parents.
Parking: The Hotel only provides valet service. Costs
are $12.00 for daily service (local attendees) and $26.00
for overnight (hotel guests).
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Hotel room rates are subject to applicable
state and local taxes in effect at the time of
check-out. The current rate is 13%.

Government participants: To receive tax
exempt status, payment must be made in the form of a
government issued credit card and be accompanied by a
Florida sales tax exemption certificate presented at
check-in.

The rate being offered to Workshop attendees is
exclusive and may not be used not in conjunction with
any advertised or unadvertised promotional specials
existing or yet unreleased.

This is a discounted group rate and is net,
non-commissionable.

Check-in time is 4:00 PM or later. Anyone
arriving prior to 4:00pm will be given a room as it
becomes available. Checkout time is 1:00 PM.

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival
to avoid a penalty of one night’s room and tax. All
reservations must be guaranteed by a room deposit or
major credit card. Any room cancelled after
6:00 PM
on
the day of arrival will be charged one night’s room and
tax. Any room guaranteed for late arrival that is not
utilized.

ADDITIONAL FEES:
In the
event your room has a soaking tub on the patio, the tub
usage fee is USD 30. Use of guestroom spa tubs is also USD
30 per stay, which includes lavender-scented bath salts and
filling and preparation prior to arrival. Food and beverage
tax is 7 percent calculated individually. Consult the front
desk staff with questions regarding spa tub usage.
RESERVATION
DEADLINE
Reservations must be made by Thursday, September
9th, 2010 to receive the special discounted group
rate. Please be aware the block of rooms may fill before the
deadline, so we urge you to make your reservation as soon as
possible. After September 9th, the discounted rate is not
available on possible remaining rooms and prevailing hotel
rates will apply.
GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room
deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Hotel will
not hold any reservations unless secured by one of the above
methods. Cancellation of individual reservations within
three (3) days of arrival will result in forfeiture of
deposit or first night's room and tax.

reservation, be sure to specify you are attending the
Potential Invasive Pests Workshop. Remember, after
September 9th, reservations will be accepted based on
availability at the hotel's prevailing rates. (To receive

be accompanied by a Florida sales tax exemption certificate
