Blue Legacy
Mississippi River Blog

CALFED Bay Delta
The CALFED Bay-Delta Program is a collaboration among 25 state and federal agencies with a mission to improve California’s water supply and the ecological health of the San Francisco Bay/Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta.

Chesapeake Bay Program
This is a regional partnership that has led and directed the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay since 1983. Partners include MD, PA, VA, the District of Columbia; the Chesapeake Bay Commission, the Environmental Protection Agency and citizen advisory groups.

Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) of Louisiana
In 2005, the Louisiana Legislature formed the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) to develop and implement a comprehensive coastal protection plan.

Columbia River in the News
This site is managed by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (Region 10: The Pacific Northwest) which provides links to news articles, past and present, focusing on the Columbia River.

Ocean Policy Task Force
Interim Framework for Coastal and Marine Spatial Planning - released for 60 days public review. After the close of the comment period (12 Feb), the Ocean Policy Task Force will finalize its recommendations and provide a final
report to the President in early 2010.

Platte River Recovery Implementation Program
The Platte River Recovery Implementation Program was initiated on January 1, 2007 as a basin-wide effort between the states of Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska and the Department of Interior to provide land, water, and scientific monitoring and research to evaluate Program benefits for the target species.

San Francisco Bay Joint Venture
The goal of the San Francisco Bay Joint Venture is to protect, restore, increase and enhance all types of wetlands, riparian habitat and associated uplands throughout the San Francisco Bay region.
