Hotel Accommodations
Our Groundwater Quality 2013 (GQ13) Room Block is being held at two host
hotels this year: the
Holiday Inn University Center and the
Reitz Union Hotel on the University of Florida
campus. Please note that in order for the Conference to
receive grant funds from Alachua County and keep participant
costs down, attendees are encouraged to make reservations at one of
these host hotels. Your help is appreciated.

The Holiday Inn is offering participants of
the 8th IAHS International Groundwater Quality
Conference (GQ13) a very special rate of $99.00 per
night, single or double occupancy (plus 11% tax) for a
standard King or Double room. The group rate will be
honored 3 days prior and 3 days following conference, based
on availability. All hotel reservations must be made by
Sunday, March 31, 2013. After this date, availability
of guest rooms at the Holiday Inn cannot be guaranteed and
you will need to contact the hotel directly at
1-352-376-1661 and speak with a guest services agent.

as a participant of the GQ13 Conference. Each
individual reservation must be guaranteed by a credit card
at time of making reservation. Reservations will
automatically be billed for one night unless cancelled 24
hours prior to arrival. If an individual cancels a
reservation, you must cancel 24 hours prior to arrival for
deposit to be refunded.

to use and makes runs to UF, Gainesville Airport, Shands
Medical Center and other local destinations (by
appointment only). The Shuttle is strictly based on a
first-come, first-serve basis. Its priority is to the
Airport and Shands Medical Center. Please inquire at
the front desk for scheduling.

Reitz Union Hotel Reservation Deadline extended to

A small block of guest rooms is being held at the
Reitz Union Hotel located at 655 Reitz Union Drive,
UF Campus, Gainesville, FL 32611; Phone: (352) 392-2151 •
Fax: (352) 846-2199. The Reitz Union Hotel is offering
participants of the 8th IAHS
International Groundwater Quality Conference (GQ13)
a special group rate of $89 per night, single or double
occupancy, for a Standard (two Double Beds or one Queen Bed)
room, and $99 per night, single or double occupancy, for a
Deluxe (two Queen Beds or one King) plus state and local
taxes of 11%. The group rate will be honored three days
prior and three days following the conference, based on
availability. All hotel reservations must be made by
March 25, 2013. After this date, availability of guest
rooms at the Reitz Union cannot be guaranteed. Parking and
complimentary continental breakfast is included in the room
rate.

Please Note: If
for any reason you need to cancel your reservation, it is
essential that you contact the Reitz Union hotel 24 hours in
advance of the day of arrival to avoid being charged for the
first night of your stay. Check out is 12:00noon and
accommodations and parking may not be available for check-in
prior to 3:00pm. Only major credit cards are accepted. A
valid state issued ID and credit card is required at
check-in and parking is included for one car per room.
Additional parking is $5.00 per car per night and
availability cannot be guaranteed.
