We have many volunteer opportunities available, and you're sure to find one that best suits your skills, availability and expectations. Planning Committee |
- Participate in monthly conference calls
- Assist in development of a conference theme
- Establish overall goals, responsibilities and objectives of the conference
- Help to elicit participation by local officials and representatives from the region
- Stay apprised of conference details and provide general guidance as needed
- Generate awareness and support for the conference
- Serve as a session moderator at the conference
- Help identify and bring in conference sponsorships

Sponsorship Committee |
- Actively identify and solicit potential sponsors
- Identify creative sponsor opportunities
- Assist with development of material outlining sponsorship opportunities for website

Technical Program Committee |
- Work as a group to develop a comprehensive list of topics and sub-topics
- Develop call for special sessions soliciting outside proposals for organized sessions
- Meet once in the host city to review abstracts
- Develop final detailed program agenda
- Identify and confirm session moderators
- Identify back-up presenters in the event of last minute cancellations

Plenary Committee |
- Identify speakers to give presentations during plenary sessions
- Schedule plenary speakers in conjunction with primary program format

Restoration Coffee House Committee |
- Identify topics of particular interest for coffee house discussions
- Identify and confirm coffee house participants
- Organize topical themes for discussion
- Prepare a write-up describing the goals and objectives of the coffee house

Field Trip Committee |
- Identify area field trip sites
- Secure tour guides and serve as liaison with host site
- Participate in pre-planning conference calls
- Attend pre-conference briefing session for a final review of field trip logistics
- Participate in the field trip you organize and serve as the onsite group leader
