Continuing Education Units

Up to 22 Florida Continuing Education Units (CEUs) may be earned by attending this Short Course.

Categories typically include: Aquatic, Natural Areas, Right-of-Way, Ornamental & Turf, Demo & Research, Forestry, Private, Aerial, and CORE.


Many states will award credit if you show the Florida CEUs you earned and a copy of the Short Course agenda, so be sure to hang on to your course materials if seeking credit from a state other than Florida.


If you would like to request approval for CEUs from states other than Florida PRIOR to the Short Course, please contact Jasmine Garcia at no later than March 11, 2016. Please provide contact information for the state agency from which you wish to seek approval.


A representative from the Florida Pesticide Certification Office will be available at the Short Course to answer questions regarding CEUs and Florida licensing requirements.   • Applicators must possess a Commercial, Public, and/or Private Pesticide License to have CEUs applied toward license renewal.
